Carr Ranch gathering set for Oct.10 in Wilson County
Event to feature industry updates, expert speakers, CEUs and cattle viewing near Floresville
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Wilson County will host the 2025 Carr Ranch Gathering on Oct. 10 at Carr’s Sale Facility, 6720 Farm-to-Market Road 97 W., about 8 miles west of Floresville.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., with seminars running from 12:45-5:45 p.m.
The event is free; however, participants are asked to RSVP to the AgriLife Extension office at 830-393-7357.
Program sessions will cover “hot topics” for cattle raisers, New World screwworm and Beefmaster breed updates. Continuing education units, CEUs, are available for attendees.
The event will conclude with an opportunity to view cattle for sale offered by the Carr Ranch and other breeders.

- Joe Paschal, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension specialist emeritus and recent recipient of the Beef Improvement Foundation Pioneer Award, Corpus Christi.
